About us
The UN Society at SOAS aims at promoting dialogue and discussion about the UN through organising debates, speaker events and facilitating our members' participation in conferences organised by the UNA-UK. The society strifes towards helping students gain greater awareness about current affairs and the role of the UN and provide networking opportunities to meet and develop relationships with people within the UN and partner agencies. The society also provides information about careers and internship opportunities. This year the SOAS UN Society will train a delegation which will attend the London International Model United Nations which is a conference welcoming over 1500 delegates.
