Our second site visit today to another #socialenterprise hub with big plans for expansion, REMO (CCORRN SE & REMO Charity) are expanding their #March premises to make a bigger Eco hub for the area. Great to see you Nikki DiGiovanni and see the plans and mood boards! From paint recycling, furniture recycling, textiles, upholstery and everything in between REMO allow people to access resources or donate. Their new larger hub will drive the transition to a #circulareconomy in #Cambridgeshire, whilst offering a co-location for other #environmental and #social ventures Deb Lee Caroline Foot

Exciting day of site visits to NEW #socialenterprise hubs in #Cambridgeshire We've been working with three social enterprises over the last year as their plans to deliver more #socialimpact are realised thanks to funding from Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority and ongoing business support from SEEE. First up today we visited the inspiring Katie Bristow at People and Animals who are expanding their operations at #Wisbech Community Farm. Progress is gathering pace as the shell building goes up and larch cladding soon to be added so this building suits it's fenland environment. The beautiful heritage barn is nearly complete with talented learners involved as they hone their skills and get support whilst building future facilities for the organisation! This new space will give opportunities for collaborative working with other social enterprises, charities and local groups. Of course the space will also give much needed improved facilities for learners and groups and the staff team. We can't wait for the official launch in March! 🥳 Deb Lee Caroline Foot

We aim to deliver hands-on, accessible solutions to third sector problems, but we need you to tell us what they are. ⛔ What barriers are you facing? 🧩 Which training needs are hard to fulfil? 💪 How can we continue to support yourself and others in building strong and resilient organisations? We’re asking for two things: 1) Complete the survey. It will take about 10 minutes; every completed survey will be entered into a draw to win one of four £100 John Lewis vouchers. 2) Share the survey far and wide. The more responses we get, the more useful the data will be. Send on to your colleagues, your partners, your supporters, your funders – as many people as possible!
