Happy World Environment Day from Sostratus Group! Some positive highlights found from the International Energy Agency (IEA): Renewable energy: Solar power increased 18% in 2023, driving a 10% growth in global renewable capacity. Electric Vehicles: It's projected that one in five new cars sold in 2023 will be electric, which will help reduce reliance on fossil fuels. EU Emissions: Energy production emissions in the EU dropped by nearly 9%, with wind power surpassing natural gas and coal. At Sostratus Energy, we're contributing with our road-based energy recovery system, ViaGen. It captures the force from heavy vehicles and is perfect for ports, transport, and logistics centres.
