Some pictures from a roof repair we carried out a few months ago on a new build/ ex show home. Problem - The customer reported water staining to their first-floor bedroom window reveal during heavy downpours. An initial independent inspector suspected a failed cavity tray. Solution - We determined water ingress stemmed all the way back up to a Velux roof light:- a combination of a pierced flashing kit (pic 5) and a torn/ overstretched membrane (pic 6).
