The London Growth Plan is about unlocking opportunity, driving investment, and ensuring every Londoner benefits from a thriving economy. Here are five ways we will turbocharge growth across our capital: 1️⃣ We'll back businesses and innovation by helping small businesses to scale up and investing in cutting-edge sectors, like AI and clean tech. 2️⃣ We'll skill up Londoners for the jobs of tomorrow. We want to help every Londoner to find good work, which in turn will help our economy to grow. 3️⃣ We'll deliver more affordable housing and infrastructure. From new rent-controlled homes to major transport upgrades, we want to make it easier to live, work and move around London. 4️⃣ We'll revitalise our high streets and local economies, with a £21 million pound boost to local high streets to ensure every borough benefits from growth. 5️⃣ We’ll ensure London is seen as the best place in the world to invest, work and innovate - whether it’s through green finance, tech or life sciences. Our plan will help create 150,000 well-paid jobs, put an extra £11,000 a year in Londoners’ pockets, and generate billions in tax revenue for public services. This will drive growth across the UK while building a better, fairer, and more prosperous London for all.
