The political party system in the UK is broken. It needs dismantling and the only way is to vote Independent at the forthcoming General Election. Prospective candidates who don't simply parrot the party manifesto, but instead, one with Character and thoughts/beliefs of their own. Chan Abraham is an exemplary demonstration of this ideology. Strength of character, humble and dedicated to the service of others and to this country. Had a fantastic time as a guest speaker at the 7th Annual Thetford Business Awards at Hockwold Hall on Friday night, alongside Kelly Cartwright 🦺 and James Bagge South West Norfolk 2024. It was an honour to address 200+ members of the Thetford business community who attended the event organized by Gez Chetal and NIGEL ARMES and a very special thanks to Francesca de Lacey - JMS TV, Video, Radio Production, Robert Breakwell and Simon Clarke who made the night even more enjoyable as my guests. The night was packed with fun, thanks to the amazing entertainment by Magic Floor Singers, the talented voice of Miriam Kingsbury and expertly hosted by the one and only Paul Martin. It was great to catch up with some of my current and past Sky advertisers, including Russell and Clare Evans from Bullards Gin, Gez and Rosy from The Thomas Paine Hotel and Katy Dorman from Norfolk County Council. I'm already marking next year's event in my calendar as a highlight of my business year. Thank you to all who made it a memorable evening!

With no party support and starting from scratch, to overcome a majority of 26,000 - while successfully fending off competition from other parties - requires a well organised and well provisioned campaign. We have therefore set a target of £20,000 for the long campaign prior to the Dissolution of Parliament; and a stretch target of a further £15,000 for the short campaign to the General Election. There is a real appetite for change of representation in the South West Norfolk constituency. Liz Truss as our current MP represents all that has been wrong with this current administration. She has been an integral part of it for the last eleven years. My campaign is aimed at those wishing to elect a Member of Parliament who will commit steadfastly to representing the interests of their constituents, ahead of party or personal ambitions.
