Space Forge believes in building more than just satellites — we’re building unique capabilities. Why? Because we want our technology endure, scale, and drive real-world change. With £975M for aerospace and a focus on export finance, the UK government is backing companies who have the innovation to enhance our transition toward net zero. This is about more than numbers. It’s about creating a future where we can thrive, and by utilising advanced materials, we can enhance sustainability across the world. We’ve started a company ✅ We’ve secured investment ✅ We’ve built a satellite in 5 months ✅ We’ve survived a launch failure ✅ We’ve weathered world-changing events ✅ Now for the one we’re still chasing… Impossible Thing #6: establishing a great work-life balance. They say “Rome wasn’t built in a day”, but it wasn’t built in 40 hours a week either. This is the only impossible thing on our list that we haven’t mastered (yet). The mission that we’re undertaking to create advanced materials built in the space environment, and to commercialise that capability is huge. To do that, we’re working with not just our teams, but with stakeholders, partners, and even competitors to create tech that can change the future. As we step back for the festive season, we’re wishing you all the balance, rest, and celebration you deserve. Together, let’s make 2025 the year of making the impossible, possible. We’ve started a company ✅ We’ve secured investment ✅ We’ve built a satellite in 5 months ✅ We’ve survived a launch failure ✅ When British Prime Minister Harold Macmillan was asked what gets in the way of good government, he replied: 👉 “Events, dear boy.” That is Impossible Thing #5. For us at Space Forge, "events" have been more like a whirlwind. Since we started, we’ve seen a global pandemic and a rapidly changing government in the UK. But we’re still here, building the next generation of advanced materials and pushing for change. With every challenge comes opportunity, and we have been so privileged to have such an amazing team throughout the years that have persevered to build Space Forge into what it is today. Impossible? Maybe. But you know how we feel about impossible things. Listen in 🎧 One more impossible thing to go... #AdvancedMaterials #Microgravity #ISAM

We’ve started a company ✅ We’ve secured investment ✅ We’ve built a satellite in 5 months ✅ Impossible Thing #4: Surviving a launch failure. After months of hard work, fast tracked to make sure it arrived in Cornwall on time, our first satellite was lost. By 8:30am, we were the last ones standing in Cornwall. 42 interviews. 6 hours. One message: "We’re not done." When one launch fails, another one lifts off, and the next week we were designing, creating and building, ready for our next launch. We’ve started a company ✅ We’ve secured investment ✅ Now it’s time for... Impossible Thing #3: Designing, building, and qualifying a satellite in 5 months. We'd earned our spot on the iconic launch from Spaceport Cornwall and the clock was ticking, so the entire team came together to create our first satellite ready for the launch date. Pressure makes diamonds and in our case, it made a satellite 🛰 Some call it impossible. We call it five months of hard work. Listen in 🎧 More impossible feats on the way. #AdvancedMaterials #Microgravity #ISAM

Last time, we kicked things off with Impossible Thing #1: Starting a Company... But what’s harder than starting a company? 🌌 Impossible Thing #2: Getting Investment. 157. That’s how many times we heard “no” before we got our first "yes”, but each rejection wasn’t the end, it was an opportunity. Every single investor we approached, the business plan got sharper, our financial plans were stronger, and most of all, we were not going to give up until we found the right investor for Space Forge. Fast forward to today and we’re building the future of advanced materials using space. The journey wasn’t easy, but when has "impossible" ever stopped us? Listen in 🎧 More impossible feats coming your way soon. #AdvancedMaterials #Microgravity #ISAM

A resilient economy starts with resilient supply chains. From clean energy to critical materials, Space Forge is driving the shift to a net-zero economy by delivering next generation semiconductors using space-made materials. This isn't just good for business, it’s good for the planet 🌱 How do we get there? 💥 Support from UK Export Finance for critical minerals 💥 £2B investment in zero-emissions vehicle manufacturing 💥 Strengthening the UK’s strategic supply chains The world is changing. We’re building the foundation. Forget the twelve days of Christmas, we're bringing you "6 Impossible Things Before Breakfast”. Six years ago, co-founders Joshua Western and Andrew Bacon embarked on a wild ride with nothing but a 3D printer and a vacuum pump. Earlier this year Josh shared the full story... 👉 #1 on the impossible things list? Starting a company. 👉 Where did it all begin? In a humble garage in Bristol, fuelled by ambition and curiosity. 👉 What did we have? A vision to redefine what’s possible. 👉 What did we want? To transform the future of advanced materials. 👉 And now? We’re making it happen... FROM SPACE 🌌 Listen in 🎧 Stay tuned for more incredible feats that brought us here today. #AdvancedMaterials #Microgravity #ISAM
