Fraudsters are using AI to create hyper-realistic forgeries, making traditional security measures increasingly ineffective. Yet, only 22 per cent of financial institutions have adopted AI-based fraud prevention tools. The message is clear: businesses must act now. A multi-layered security approach - integrating AI detection, biometrics, and continuous monitoring is critical to staying ahead of these threats. A Family Investment Company (FIC) can be a tax-efficient way to manage and transfer wealth while retaining control. Unlike trusts, FICs operate within a corporate structure, offering flexibility and lower tax rates. While they can be an excellent tool for succession planning, they aren’t a one-size-fits-all solution, Natasha Oakshett, partner in the private client and tax team at Withersworldwide, says. Factors like tax implications, investment strategy, and family needs must be carefully considered. Spear’s experts explore the benefits, structure, and potential drawbacks of FICs, helping wealthy families decide if they are the right fit. Donald Trump Jr has announced his investment in the Enhanced Games, dubbed by some as the 'doped Olympics'. 'For over 100 years, elites in charge of global sports have stifled innovation, crushed individual greatness and refused to let athletes push the limits of what’s possible. That ends now,' says Trump Jr. The sports event, conceived by Aron D'Souza and backed by billionaire Peter Thiel, centres around seeing what the human body can truly achieve using legal enhancements that are banned for professional athletes by the World Anti Doping Agency. 'Not only that, as if goading Just Stop Oil to throw more soup at a Van Gogh, Lamborghini has subverted all the best bits of automotive green technology – such as batteries and electric motors – and redeployed them to make the Revuelto a hybrid that’s even more monstrously powerful and responsive.' Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A.’s stunning Revuelto manages to embrace green technology while still snorting in the face of the environment, writes Mark Walton. Read more: https://lnkd.in/e9qp6aSj
