We are 11 years old today! Thank you to Rachel Murray for bringing in the cakes - especially as she was also celebrating 6 years with us yesterday too. We've come a long way since her first day, pitched up in Phil's dining room while we were waiting for our first office to be set up. It's been a bit of a roller coaster, but we are still going strong and looking forward to the new year for which we have some big plans... #anniversary #digitallearning

We don't get to share our work very often, but we will try and get better at it, particularly when it can raise awareness of important issues. So here's one of two animations we created for Plan International and UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency. The animations were made as part of a wider e-learning project on "Tackling Child Marriage in Child Protection and Gender-Based Violence Programming". Although some of the topics can be difficult, we feel extremely grateful to work primarily on projects in the humanitarian, education and health sectors that are supporting the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Today is World Mental Health Day, something we're really keen to shine a light on at Spokes Education. Our team are our number one priority, and we look to support them in any way we can. Mental health is a huge part of this, and we're always looking for new ways to support the mental health of our team. Use today as an opportunity to check in with your own team, friends, and family, and open up the conversation around mental health.

We're now fully settled into our new office, and last week we got the whole team together to celebrate the start of our new chapter. We held team workshops, played some games, and took a well earned trip to the bakery! We're really excited about what lies ahead for Spokes Education, and can't wait to share everything we're working on!

Today, Claudino is celebrating his 5 year Spokesiversary! Claudino is our Development Lead, and an incredibly talented member of our team. We know how lucky we are to have him, and can't believe how quickly the past 5 years have gone by!

We're in! We've made it to our new office and already feel right at home. We've got boxes to unpack and some finishing touches to make, but we love our new space and can't wait to show you the finished look!
