About us

About Us: We are UK based company, operational since 2011, during which time we have delivered sport and physical activity outcomes for a wide range of clients in the UK and overseas, including national government bodies, national and local charities, local authorities, London 2012 legacy programmes, county sport partnerships and sport and physical activity groups. What We Do: We use sport to make a difference: creating, developing and implementing innovative strategies and solutions to promote engagement in sport and physical activity. We provide expertise, advice, resources and training to develop and improve physical literacy. We help a range of organisations to develop, using sport as the metaphor for success. Our Philosophy: Integrated support: We work with you, not for you, to identify solutions which are aligned to your own objectives and ethos; Evolution, not revolution: We recognize what is working well within an organisation or process and seek to build on that; Positive relationships: We build and sustain meaningful partnerships and developmental relationships; Humility: We learn and grow together. Making a difference: We aim to change lives in and through sport and physical activity.

  • Truly inspirational and motivating

As the sun sets over Umea, it's one of those times to reflect and be grateful for the opportunities that being involved with physical activity offers us. The chance to connect across the world and inspire each other to keep striving to light the fire for active lives. This week with #changethegame has shone a bright light on the potential for a physical literacy approach to truly change the game - in policy and in practice. Thanks to all involved for the experience, the hospitality and the inspiration. Now to make it happen.. #physicalliteracy #global collaboration #letsdothis

  • Great to be there this week. Some real food for thought, and opportunity to impact. Thankyou #carolinebrooks #WFSGI

Day Two at UNESCO Change The Game. Today was the Ministers' Forum, where we heard some real solidarity about sustainable legacies and tackling inequalities and discrimination. The key here will be to unlock the secret to bringing policies and strategies together globally so that social impact is designed, delivered and measured in a collaborative manner. I can't help but think that a #physicalliteracy approach could go a long way towards delivering equality and inclusion. • Great day with UNESCO Change The Game event. Key takeaways from Day One - we need to get better at demonstrating social impact of participation in sport and physical activity - there are agencies willing and ready to invest in social impact projects - we have had the evidence of the positive social gains that sport and physical activity can deliver for many years, and it keeps giving us the same information, yet policy makers do not seem to be hearing or taking action. So what are we doing wrong as a sector? Could part of it be that our language jumps between "sport" and "physical activity" and "movement" to the extent that the audience gets confused about what our "offer" is?
