The Debenhams Ottaway team had a great time at St Michael's Manor Hotel yesterday evening attending the St Albans District Chamber of Commerce Community Business Awards! It was so great to go along to the community business awards as a finalist in their ESG category last night. I’ve worked hard making my brand a sustainable one and to be recognised for that was really special. I was in great company too, St Albans really does have an amazing community of businesses. I was lucky to have my husband, Nick Dilworth , by my side for the awards ceremony, he’s been a fantastic cheerleader all the way through. Wow! What a huge surprise I had last night when I was awarded The President’s Award by Cheryl Luzet at the St Albans District Chamber of Commerce Community Business Awards. Cheryl thanked me for 24 years of connecting and supporting new businesses, something which I love, so it has never been like work. Thank you to Claire Stevenson and ✨ Alexandra Asanache for organising a superb evening recognising all the great achievements of so many St Albans businesses. I was particularly proud that the Wheathampstead Community Kitchen won the ESG award and The Wheathampstead Community Hub were finalists in the New Business category.
