This morning, our prefects had the privilege of supporting our neighbouring school Willowbrook, during their annual Santa Run. Our students had a great time cheering on Reception - Year 6 students as they raced towards the finish line. A huge congratulations to all Willowbrook students for their outstanding effort and fantastic running! 🚀New Year’s resolution? Volunteer to support at St James School- Join Our Enrichment Programme 🚀 We’re looking for passionate volunteers to help grow and strengthen our school enrichment programme. Every student at our school participates in an ‘elective’ activity on a Wednesday afternoon 1.30pm - 3.00pm. Our aim is to encourage lifelong physical activity, spark new hobbies, and build stronger connections with our local community. 🌱💡 Over the past three years, we’ve seen incredible benefits for our students, and we’re committed to providing an enrichment experience that matches the opportunities of private schools. But we need your help to take it to the next level! Whether you have a talent to share, a passion for fitness, creativity, or community service, we are open to new ideas, anything from Forestry to Yoga, we want YOU! 💪🎨🤝 We would be delighted to help provide after-school spaces or promote local services if it helps our community. 🔹 What we need: Volunteers to lead or assist with activities 🔹 Why volunteer? Make a real impact on students’ lives and help them discover new passions and skills. We will provide a DBS check and safeguard training.  🔹 Time commitment: 90 minutes every Wednesday afternoon during term time. Supported by teaching staff at first, with the potential of running your own small group if you desire. We are so thankful to Prydis who have partnered with St James' Equality in Education team, providing £250 for St James to purchase pens for students who might otherwise struggle to afford them. Creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment and ensuring that all students are able to be equipped and able to learn from the minute they walk into the school is really important to us.
