This week found us delivering an Introduction to Green Skills Programme down in the Forest of Dean working with long term friends, South Gloucestershire and Stroud College. We covered topics such as #retrofit, what current #Green Technologies exist, what they look like, how they function, energy saving and efficiency saving measures to be made to support #decarbonisation of housing stock. As well as a look at Green jobs. What sectors come under that umbrella and the differing jobs available. As well as how the participants interest could be applied to suitable potential roles and the qualifications needed in order to make that journey. We are further looking for partners in the way of #colleges, #councils and #organisiations with a green vision looking fo support their local residents and employees. We are happy to set up calls to discuss what the programme consists of. There are no pre-requisites, just to be looking for a career change into the green sector, but are not sure where to start or as part of a CPD initiative. #geeentechnogies #renewables #ukprosperstory #decarbonisation #education #awareness #reduceemissions #energy #partL #carbonsaving
