  • 📅 Today, 17th May, we recognize the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia (IDAHOBIT). 🤔 Did you know this date holds a special significance? In 1990, the World Health Organisation took a historic step by declassifying homosexuality as a mental illness. This decision marked a turning point in the fight for LGBTQ+ rights. It challenged outdated perceptions and paved the way for greater understanding and acceptance. While progress has been made, LGBTQ+ individuals still face discrimination and violence around the world.
