Our client Gary experienced an electric shock while working near power lines and required a below knee amputation. A recent family court judgment has highlighted the importance of active engagement in non-court dispute resolution (“NCDR”) and the cost consequences for failure to do so. Personal Injury partner Charles Edwards and paralegal Charlie Blair met our client through the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) NHS Trust legal service in November 2023. Our client had sustained a severe spinal cord injury as a result of a sporting incident whilst on a family holiday.
