Stortech Electronics manufacture and supply a comprehensive range of electronic components and CCTV equipment. Stortech Components division specialises in the supply of a large range of bespoke products for a variety of applications i.e. Mobility, Consumer, Industrial and Automotive. Products include Cable Assemblies, Sealed lead Acid Batteries, Power Supplies, Micro Switches, Connectors and Speakers. Stortech CCTV's division specialise in supplying vehicle surveillance and tracking (SAT) technology. With over 500,000 products in operation, combined with our proactive approach in designing solutions. Stortech is the supplier of choice for a number of transport sectors including the PSV and Emergency Vehicle markets. We are a group company of DiscoverIE plc and we distribute our products directly as well as through our plc's distribution arm. Our conveniently located warehouse in Harlow Essex enables us to satisfy all your logistics needs.

Last week, Chris Sinclair had the incredible opportunity to inspire the next generation at the Ifield Community College Futures Fair. Engaging with enthusiastic students aged 12 to 18, he introduced them to Insight Technology Search and our mission to help advanced technology companies hire visionary leaders. By bringing the world of Semiconductor & Advanced Electronics to life, he showcased some of the industry's most groundbreaking technologies. The students were captivated by cutting-edge products from leading companies within the discoverIE Group plc, including innovations from Variohm Group's Eurosensor, Limitor GmbH, and Phoenix America. They also explored offerings from Stortech Electronics Ltd and Antenova / 2J Antennas. To top it off, Chris presented state-of-the-art semiconductor components from industry giants like TDK / TDK InvenSense, Intel Corporation, and Infineon Technologies. It was a day filled with curiosity and excitement, and we're thrilled to have played a part in inspiring these young minds who will shape the future of technology.

A great and meaningful quote by Marcus Aurelius. The important part is that we do have the power to adapt our own emotions. Especially if something has created a strong emotion in us such as anger, hurt or sorrow. What I try to do is reflect (or as a lady in our office used to say "suck it up"). For 5 sec, 5 mins, 5 hrs or 5 days depending on what has caused this feeling. This is to ensure you do not release your inner chimp. (From a book called the Chimp Paradox by Steve Peters). But that we react in the most appropriate way that we will not only be happy with afterwards but more likely achieve the best results.

The R118 regulation The R118 regulation concerns the burning behaviour and/or the capability to repel fuel or lubricant of materials used in the construction of Vehicles used to carry passengers, with over eight seats besides the driver's seat, category II or III (Less than and greater than 5 tons). The regulation describes the approval applicable to the type of vehicles and to the components in certain areas of the vehicles, regarding their behaviour to fire and/or their capability of repelling fuel or lubricants.
