The Streamline Recruitment Personal Branding Awards 2024 Welcome to the first annual Streamline Recruitment Personal Branding Awards, presented to you by a recruitment marketer who has clearly ran out of ideas as Christmas breathes down his neck. Without further ragú 🍝... 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐮𝐬𝐤𝐚𝐬 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝. This goes to our independent panel's favourite 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙧𝙪𝙞𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙗𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙩 of the year and it goes to Kyle Francis for his post regarding a influx of counter offers he and his team were noticing a few months back. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐞𝐭 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝. Rory McGreevy wins this one for his excellent 𝙬𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙩𝙮𝙡𝙚, 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 and 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 of his posts. All making it a lot more likely his audience will connect with his content. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝. This one goes to the man with the 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙤 𝙙𝙖𝙢𝙣 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 it almost forces the reader's finger to click and interact with it. The bookies favourite takes it, of course it's Tom Evans! 𝐓𝐡𝐞 "𝐈'𝐦 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞..." 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝. The Friends fans out there should nod indifferently at this one. If you're an uncultured swine who doesn't like the greatest sit com of all time - this one goes for the 𝙗𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧 of the year. It has to be Lee Griffiths! I really want to somehow turn that into a "it has to be... Lee Gryffindor!" reference but LinkedIn's tagging system isn't up to that level yet. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝. 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙮 𝙞𝙨 𝙠𝙚𝙮! That's something I'm always shouting in our half time team talks here at Streamline and clearly Bethany Viard has been listening. Beth's relentless content cycle deserves it's own post if I'm honest, from job posts to client visits to Wolves' shocking form. IT'S GREAT! 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐫 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐈𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐬 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝. Creating good discussion points for content isn't easy. But there's one man who can pinpoint topics in his mind better than anyone - Sam Warren. Sam's ability to take his daily 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 and turn it into 𝙠𝙚𝙮 𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙮 𝙙𝙚𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙧 𝙖𝙙𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚 is second to none. 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐅𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐬𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫'𝐬 𝐅𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐬𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫... No it's not Fiona Bruce, it's Phil Amey! This man is got more breaking 𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙮 𝙣𝙚𝙬𝙨 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨 in the palm of his hand than J Jonah Jameson! 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐞𝐧... This one goes to the army man himself Darien Gillis. For his pure confidence and arrow like accuracy when posting 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 to his candidates on LinkedIn. And then finally we've got a three way.👀 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐨 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡. Pretty self explanatory this one. These three I think are the ones to look out for in 2025. Rory McGreevy Dan Abbott Darien Gillis I'm going to run out of characters but basically well done to everyone and we'll see you in 2025!

  • A little Streamline Recruitment 2024 round up... As everyone winds down for the Christmas break we thought we'd post some of our random favourite moments of the year. We think that most would agree that 2024 was a tough year for recruitment, but we're truly proud of how both of our London and Tilbury offices have worked hard to produce results throughout. December has proved to be a promising month in terms of the amount of exciting roles that have been confirmed for the start of 2025. We'd like to thank all of our clients and candidates that have worked with Streamline over the past 12 months and look forward to more success from January. And keep a look out this afternoon for a debate that will create such festive discussion it's potentially dangerous to society... #TeamStreamline #Recruitment #Construction #Logistics

  • You know what really grinds our gears? 😡 "We'll reconvene the interview process in the new year" Or... "I'll start looking for a new role in the new year." The current status quo in the recruitment world is that around late November, both clients and candidates begin to wind down as Christmas approaches. The common mindset is that Christmas is not the time to move roles or bring on new staff. This is obviously an understandable approach - it's probably been a tough year. But while you hit pause, smart candidates and businesses stay proactive—securing roles and talent before January's rush. Whether you're a candidate or a client, waiting until January to act is a mistake. You risk missing out on top opportunities, wasting valuable time, and most likely losing money in the process. Find out how in our latest blog via the link in the comments below! 👇🎄 #Recruitment #SecuringTopTalent #ChristmasWindDown
