Abbey Wood Travelodge, Bristol, has been shortlisted for ‘Best use of a rain screen system using glass, ceramics or stone' at the Façade Awards UK. 🏨   The project innovatively uses natural slate for its rainscreen cladding, a material more traditionally used in roofing, to create a bold, modern aesthetic. “We wanted the two interlocking volumes of the hotel to be easily distinguishable.
