Feel Good Friday: Peter & Freda’s Incredible Journey with Strolll and Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust It’s been an inspiring journey over the last 6 months as Peter and his wife, Freda, have been actively involved in a feasibility study guided by the brilliant Caroline Gill research Physiotherapist at Leeds Teaching Hospital. The aim? To enhance Peter's mobility and overall well-being, and the results have been nothing short of remarkable! Using our Strolll Augmented reality platform, Peter has completed over 800 games, harnessing the power of a gamified experience to boost his confidence, strength, and mobility. His competitive spirit and Freda's unwavering support have been key factors in their success, making them a truly formidable team. The study, conducted in partnership with Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, has shown the fantastic potential of using engaging digital tools to assist patients in their recovery journey, improving both physical and mental well-being day by day. A huge thank you to Peter and Freda for their dedication, as well as to Caroline Gill and Rory O’Connor for their continued support of patients in this trial. Today, we had the pleasure of visiting our new clinic partners at their impressive Health and Wellbeing Hub, located at the University of Essex. During our visit, we also had the opportunity to follow Andrew Bateman and team into the surrounding community, where our technology was demonstrated to the local Parkinson’s dance group, showcasing how it can support their exercise activities and enhance wellbeing.
