Introducing UrbanGPT Our first prototype merges OpenAI's ChatGPT with Grasshopper for real-time text-to-3D urban design. By typing any text command you can think of, designers can generate dynamic city layouts, track vital metrics (like program and floor areas), and produce realistic massing distribution for any input urban layout. This 3D massing is then rendered in real-time based on the prompt using real-time diffusion AI. 2024: What a year! We went from a practice of 1 to 9 in a single year! This can only be described as the reward for going against the grain and fully embracing AI in the architectural field! Our proudest milestones this year: Jan: Went from team of 1 to 4 (freelancers) Feb: First client trip (Switzerland) Apr: Transition to full-time London team(5 ppl) May: First team client trip (Slovenia) Jun: Acquired physical office (W1 London) July: First gov project team trip (UAE) Aug: Began sponsoring visa for employees (+2) Sep: Began tech dev (AI/Nvidia/Microsoft..) Oct: Began sending representatives to conferences Dec: Finishing our year with a team of 9! 2024 marks our transition from a person to a practice.
