📚 Save Saltcoats and Ardrossan Libraries At St. Vincent's, a healthcare IT business rooted in Scotland and working across the UK, we understand the vital role libraries play in supporting mental health, education, and community well-being. Libraries aren’t just about books—they’re lifelines. They provide: - Support for mental health: Social groups, like mums' meet-ups, help combat isolation and depression. - Post-COVID recovery: Access to books and resources helps children rebuild their education. - A warm, welcoming space: Essential for all, especially during the cost-of-living crisis. While this petition focuses on libraries in Saltcoats and Ardrossan, their closure highlights a larger issue we can all empathise with—the need to protect spaces that nurture education, inclusion, and community. Please take a moment to sign and share. Together, let’s stand for the principle that libraries should remain at the heart of every community. https://lnkd.in/e9j8gDy7 #MentalHealthAwareness #Community #Inclusion

From all of us at St. Vincent's, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! ✨ As we wrap up another incredible year, we’ve been celebrating the festive season across the UK! 🎅 Our TOM team brought the holiday spirit to their session in London, rocking their Christmas jumpers—with a special shoutout to Paul for his iconic Santa hat! 🎄 Up in Scotland, the team had a blast at the arcade, battling it out for the crown and sharing plenty of laughs over some unique bowling styles. This season is all about joy, connection, and reflection, and we’re so grateful for all the amazing people who make up our St. Vincent's family. St. Vincent's is proud to have played a role in this digital journey at the East Midlands Planned Care Centre, in collaboration with University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust and Nervecentre Software. Congratulations to everyone involved! #DigitalHealth #HealthcareInnovation #PatientCare #NHS
A vision of our "OneDigital" future! I visited the new East Midlands Planned Care Centre yesterday at the Leicester General Hospital site. It was great to hear positive feedback from patients and staff on the new digital tools and reimagined operating model. An exciting insight into how we will work in outpatients in future. Another set of first of type features successfully deployed by the Nervecentre Software - University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust development partnership is again laying new ground for the rest of our sites and others in the region to follow. Multi lingual self check in kiosks, access to view primary care repeat prescriptions within the acute EPR, paper free diagnostic requesting and prescribing are all live now. Plus the new building is easy to find thanks to digital wayfinding from BT Group and MazeMap - thanks Katie Danes, Mat V. and team for your support with this. Thanks also to James Rimmer at Nervecentre and all our project teams who have delivered a huge amount in the last few months to get all the development, prep, testing, implementation and now support delivered on time. Particularly Mussa Ismail, Rick Huby, Liesl Wrigglesworth, Irfan Karim and all the digital and data colleagues involved. And credit to Debbie Waters, Ellen Osborne, Rachael Briggs and team - digital doesn't get done without great ops colleagues to build the vision and make change happen.

🗣️ We Are Live! We are excited to announce we have recently gone live with bi-directional integration between eRs and our Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system. What does this mean? The Trust has successfully transitioned from the manual process of exporting referrals from e-RS to the EPR. What are the Benefits? This initiative not only represents a significant advancement in the Trust's One Patient Record journey, but it has also yielded several key benefits: - Mitigated the risk of human error associated with the manual upload of referrals. - Enhanced staff morale within the Booking Office through streamlined workflows. - Increased clinician satisfaction due to a more effective layout of referrals. - Improved patient experience by freeing up time for our admin and clerical teams, allowing them to dedicate more attention to addressing patient inquiries.
