🎁 Spreading Joy This Holiday Season 🎁 This year, the teams at Mascolo & Styles and Styles & Associates came together to support a cause close to our hearts. We proudly donated gifts to the 𝗧𝗼𝘆 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹'𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀, helping ensure that every child in their care experiences a little magic this season. We focused on gifts for children aged 12 and up, a group often overlooked during holiday giving. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to this effort. In her first Labour Party conference speech as Chancellor, Rachel Reeves unveiled measures aimed at boosting productivity, reducing fraud, and closing the tax gap. As part of these initiatives, HMRC will soon launch a consultation on electronic invoicing (e-invoicing) to promote its broader adoption across UK businesses and government departments. E-invoicing has the potential to significantly reduce administrative workloads, improve cash flow, enhance productivity, introduce automation, and minimise tax return errors, all of which contribute to closing the tax gap. The consultation will seek input from businesses on how HMRC can encourage investment in e-invoicing and drive its uptake. At this year's Macmillan Coffee Morning, the Styles & Associates team in collaboration with our sister company Masco & Styles raised over £128 in support of cancer care! The team went above and beyond, offering a delicious spread of homemade cakes, cookies, and savoury treats. A big thank you to Amy for organising the event once again. It was a fun and heart warming morning for a truly important cause. The funds raised by our team will contribute to Macmillan’s essential work, including supporting nurses, answering calls on the Support Line, and offering financial aid to those in need.

In a report published by the House Of Commons this week GDP is estimated to have grown by 0.5% in May-July 2024 compared to the previous three-month period (February-April). Monthly real GDP is estimated to have shown no growth in July 2024. #gdp #accountant
