Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC) - Registered charity 1175413
About us
SUDC UK is a charity dedicated to raising awareness, funding research and bringing together families affected by Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC). SUDC occurs in children aged 1-18 years. The cause of death remains unexplained after a thorough case investigation including examination of the child and family’s medical history. As the 5th leading category of death in children aged 1-4 years, SUDC is one of the most under-recognised medical tragedies of our time. SUDC UK envisages a world where SUDC is predictable and preventable and provides information and resources for professionals and families. Families are referred to our global affiliate, the SUDC Foundation, for expert bereavement support services. For information and family referrals please visit www.sudc.org.uk or email info@sudc.org.uk Registered charity in England and Wales 1175413

SUDC UK is excited to introduce a brand-new virtual event for our registered families in 2025. We hope to see as many of you there as possible.💙⭐️ Please join us on 1st February between 3pm-4.30pm for a supportive online event where families (adults and children) can connect and spend time together. Please email events@sudc.org.uk to sign up and we will send your pebble painting kit out in the post. We ask that before the event you have painted your pebble and then on the day that you might like to share your design with others virtually. Your design might include something special that reminds you of your child, a meaningful place which you visited together, like the park or the beach, your child's favourite game they played or simply their favourite colours. We look forward to seeing all your pebble designs. SUDCSupport #Timespenttogether
