Our #ThankyouThursday today goes to the fantastic team at Thomas and Young Wealth Management Ltd. 🌟 Darren and a few other team members at Thomas & Young not only took part in a Mallorca Round The Island Cycle Challenge, but also did The Great Eastern Run in aid of Suffolk Mind. 💙 In total, they raised an amazing £2,698.62. This is enough to power our Helpline for nearly three weeks! Thank you so much to the team at Thomas & Young for taking on these challenges. #SuffolkMind #Fundraising #Cycling #GreatEasternRun

We want to make Suffolk the best place in the world for talking about and taking care of mental health.
About us
Suffolk Mind is an independent charity whose mission is to make the county the world's best place for talking about and taking care of mental health. To meet that mission, we provide a range of wellbeing services, courses and resources for individuals, schools, workplaces and community groups. Suffolk Mind supports people from the age of 4 upwards, through: - The Mental Health Kitbag, skills-based sessions for children and young people, and the adults who support them - Our support services for over 18s - The Mental Health Toolkit – our practical mental health training for organisations Working across the Mental Health Continuum, we aim to provide support and information for everyone. This includes counselling services and mental health support groups - a number of which are open for self-referral. To influence what we do, we use the Emotional Needs & Resources approach: that we all have physical and emotional needs, along with a set of skills and resources we’re born with to meet those needs. The 12 needs comprise three physical needs for Sleep, Movement and Food & Drink, and the remaining nine emotional needs. These are: Attention, Control, Emotional Connection, Respect, Achievement, Security, Community, Meaning & Purpose and Privacy. Start meeting your needs today. Contact us on 0300 111 6000, email info@suffolkmind.org.uk, or visit our website (suffolkmind.org.uk) to find out how Suffolk Mind can help you talk about and take care of your mental health.

And just like that, The CII Big Annual Christmas Quiz is over for 2024! Now, we might be biased but we think last night was the best quiz ever. Our quizzes seem to be getting better and better. So make sure you get yourselves booked in for the next one when it goes live! Congratulations to our winning quiz team - Becketts and the winners of best team name, as voted by LinkedIn - We Thought This Was Speed Dating. We hope everyone enjoyed themselves and the Domino's went down well. Special mention to our YPG committee for putting on the quiz, to Marsh & BMW Group for their donations to our raffle and finally to all of those who attended and helped raise a great amount of money on behalf of Suffolk Mind. P.s the next quiz isn’t for another 6 months 🤓😂

Amazing message. 👏 Thank you Charlotte Giddings for your generosity. 💙 Reminder to get your brownie boxes this weekend to support our charity and Brownie and the Bean®️Bakery! 🍫
This Black Friday, instead of offering a discount, we will be donating 50p from every box sold to Suffolk Mind. To put it into perspective: every 4 brownie boxes sold over Black Friday weekend allows Suffolk Mind to connect with someone via their helpline, so 4 boxes of brownies will be life changing and could be lifesaving. Our brownies are often sent to cheer up loved ones, wish people well or give ourselves time out to relax and enjoy a moment with a cuppa. You’re such a kind and thoughtful bunch, we know we’ll have your full support in donating the money to charity over offering a small discount on this occasion. Thank you all in advance, Charlotte and Luke 💙🤎 (Founders of Brownie and the Bean) Suffolk Mind #corporategifting #supportsmallbusiness #suffolkmind

2025 Challenge - The Jungle Ultra - The Amazon. Starting 1st June 2025 It all kicks off from the Manu National Park, Peru. Set deep in the rainforest, the impenetrable nature of this jungle is the reason it remains untouched, making this one of the toughest races in the world. The journey from cloud forest to Amazon basin, fighting my way through suffocating undergrowth, is broken by river crossing after crossing. This is one of the hardest ultra marathons in the world. Choked with mud and humidity, the thin air doubles the effort required to move, testing all of your physical and mental resilience. This is a race like no other, and I’m buzzing to face this challenge head on!! Distance 240km, 5 days to complete. Self-efficient. 🙌 I have chosen to do this race for Suffolk Mind, after recently raising money for this charity with our Airborne Fit 24hr challenge - I have been amazed by the hard work and dedication they give to the Suffolk community and shocked by the figures. This charity needs to be supported so they can continue to support us as a community. I will update you on my training.
