  • Are you using this strategy? �� I had a great time a few weeks ago working with a client and their senior leadership team on the next stage of their marketing strategy. It reminded me just how effective the simple plan, act, and review strategy is. They had a great plan; they spent lots of time, energy, and resources implementing that plan's different elements. Now it was time to review and look at what had worked, what wasn't working, or what wasn't working as well as they wanted it to. What were the things that perhaps they need to stop doing, things they need to introduce? In a great review session like this, you can identify where to course correct and amend the plan ready for the next stage of the journey, whether next week, month, or quarter. So, if you are not building in that really simple plan, act, review, I highly recommend it. #recruitment #marketing #PAR #growth

  • Personal branding is incredibly topical right now, and often people will come to me and say, I see all these different kinds of posts out on LinkedIn. And people are sharing lots of personal things; That’s not me I don't want to do that. Do I have to do this personal branding and content Sharon? My immediate response is to say; Yes. You need to connect with your audience and get in front of them���� And the reality is that, no, you don't have to do personal branding as long as you realize that there will be a consequence, and it may be that you are not able to connect with your market, both your clients and your candidates in the same way that other people will.

A simple top-line overview, therefore, taking someone from ‘unaware about you and your brand’ through to ‘awareness’, through to a level of engagement, through to having a conversation, through to considering working with you.   • Let's talk today about building strong foundations. ��️ Recently, I spent a fantastic night watching a great performance of Johannes Radebe's latest tour. I came away with some great takeaway messages that relate to business as much as it does to becoming an amazing dancer. Johannes' success through Strictly, his own tours, and his book (which has been made into a film) didn't happen overnight. This reminded me of business and marketing success. We have to have strong foundations in place when it comes to marketing. �� These foundations are what gives us the confidence to be persistent and achieve the ROI we're all looking for. So, let's be persistent and build those strong foundations. ��
