Our Survival Technology was vital in a rescue operation off the coast of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, USA.   The 81-foot trawler Three Girls caught fire approximately 105 miles east of Portsmouth. The vessel had six individuals on board: four crew members, the captain, and a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) observer. After receiving a mayday call, the Coast Guard responded swiftly. The captain quickly transferred everyone to one of our six-person liferafts, which we have meticulously serviced since it was new.   Thanks to the quick action, the Coast Guard successfully rescued all six individuals with no injuries reported. Our Survival Technology played a crucial role in a rescue off the coast of Fiumicino, Italy. During a severe storm with waves over 4 meters and winds exceeding 70 km/h, the sailing vessel ‘Seppia’ experienced engine failure and a blackout. The crew sent a distress signal, and the Coast Guard responded swiftly with a patrol boat. Despite challenging conditions, including a violent thunderstorm, the Coast Guard deployed our liferafts and safely rescued all five individuals.
