    Specialist in Marketing Recruitment

Happy 3(ish) year anniversary to me! It's been quite the ride, I joined Swarm after I took a bit of a break in working to look after my mental health after hitting a very very low ebb. I honestly thought when I had my interview, that I wouldn't be considered after taking a 3 year break from recruitment and 1 year from the traditional working environment. BUT Paul offered me the role and I was met with nothing but understanding. 3 years on and I have been supported throughout pregnancy, maternity, my return to work and everything else that life has thrown at me in between. All while being able to have the flexibility to be at home with my doggos when I need to, or be in the office when I need to see grown ups that won't (or at least be less likely) to throw themselves on the floor if I ask them to do something. So grateful for Swarm Group and the values that it embodies as without those, although I am sure I would have managed, it would have been a lot harder. Excited for the year to come as I begin to return to more of a working "normal".

  • And so... the end of the first and very exciting week of the year! Lots of catch ups, lots of planning and lots of learning going on here to ensure that our Finance and Marketing recruitment teams are providing the best and streamlined service throughout 2025 and beyond. We look forward to supporting you in the coming year, we will be checking in with some of you in the coming weeks but should you need us in the meantime - you know where we are! #marketingrecruitment #financerecruitment #2025 #recruitment

  • Big day for us here at Swarm HQ! We are all together, finalising our plans for the year to come - and finishing off the left over Christmas biscuits 🍪 At Swarm we are big on working in the best way for us, which a lot of the time means working from home, so days like today where we all get together brings an extra buzz 🐝

  • Happy New Year from us all at Swarm Recruitment! We hope that you all had a great and restorative time over the festive period and, like us, are ready to take on the New Year. We will be catching up with all of our clients over the coming weeks to see how we are able to support going forward, but should you need us in the mean time - you know where we are! Bring on 2025 💙

  • Beautiful post from Oliver Cliffe CertRP, sharing his thoughts on parenting and how it's helped him in life and work. Something that is very relatable to many of us and highlighting the characteristics that we need to nurture to be successful.

What Parenting Has Taught Me About Myself (and Recruitment) The past month of becoming a parent has been one of the most challenging, but rewarding times of my life. It’s been a rollercoaster of sleepless nights, unexpected moments of joy, and more learning than I ever thought possible. What’s surprised me most is how much of what I’ve learned as a parent mirrors the lessons I’ve needed in recruitment—and in life: 💡 Resilience – There are tough moments, whether it’s in the middle of the night with a crying baby or a tricky recruitment challenge. I’ve learned to take a deep breath, stay calm, and keep going. 💡 Flexibility – Things rarely go to plan, and that’s okay. I’ve learned to embrace the unexpected and adapt quickly—something that’s so important in both parenting and recruitment. 💡 Creativity – Sometimes, you have to think outside the box to solve a problem (or calm a meltdown!). This has taught me to approach challenges at work with fresh ideas and a bit more patience. 💡 Problem-Solving – Parenthood has made me realise just how important it is to take things one step at a time, stay focused, and find solutions that work—even if they’re not the ones you initially planned for. Parenting has been humbling and has shown me the importance of empathy, patience, and perseverance. It’s also reminded me how much I still have to learn, both as a parent and as a professional. To anyone balancing parenting, work, or both—I have so much respect for you. It’s not always easy, but it’s definitely worth it! 👨🍼 👨💼 #ParentingJourney #RecruitmentLife #RecruitmentChallenges #ResilienceMatters #LifeLessons #PersonalGrowth
