  • October 2024 Benchmarking Report 📊 The holiday season is just around the corner, and our Sweet Analytics October 2024 Benchmarking Report is here! Dive into this month's retail performance data and see how key sectors are faring: 👗 Fashion, Apparel & Accessories Year-on-year (YoY) sales dip: Down 4% overall. Mixed performance: Footwear sales grew, while Accessories and Clothing faced declines. 💍 Jewellery Shining bright: Sales surged by 13%, driven by higher Average Order Value and Average Selling Price. Strong sector growth: 71% of brands reported positive results. 🍔 Food & Beverages Sector decline: Down 5% YoY, largely due to a 17% drop in Beverages. Bright spot: Confectionery & Gifts rose by 19%. 💄 Health, Beauty & Fitness Flatlining: Down slightly (-1.4%) as consumers likely await Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals.
