Video games can be an exciting, and also educational, source of entertainment for children – but do you know how to ensure they play safely? 🎮 It’s predicted that almost half a million people bought games consoles last December, making them one of the most popular Christmas gifts in 2023. Most consoles come with a variety of safety settings, which can help to keep children safe when playing. "It’s a privilege to have an opportunity to help,” says our marketing director, Amy Gilbert. This week, some of our marketing team visited Salford Foodbank to show support and provide donations ahead of the festive period – a time that can be very difficult for some. At TalkTalk, our colleagues have three Give Something Back days per year, where they’re encouraged to volunteer their time within their local community. It was fantastic to join celebrations at our Salford HQ this week to celebrate Diwali, the Festival of Lights 🎆 Dancing, sharing stories, and tasting foods was a big part of the celebration with colleagues to mark the Hindu religious festival this year. We encourage everybody to bring their whole selves to work, every day.
