Each year in July, the United Nations High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) meets to follow up on and review the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This year, we’ve compiled a list of some of our recent open access sustainability articles, to show instances of how research is helping achieve each one of the UN's SDGs. From “no poverty” and “zero hunger” to “life below water” and “life on land”, take a read to find research that highlights many of the problems facing society, and offers solutions with case studies and discussions of policy impact: https://lnkd.in/edpy6v6g Browse Sustainable Development Goals Online (SDGO), a carefully curated interdisciplinary collection of digital content mapped to the United Nations’ SDGs: https://lnkd.in/eUw8Gv86 #SDGs #OpenAccess #ResearchImpact

We are pleased to bring you this episode of Wayfinders, featuring Nathaniel Gore (on right), PeerJ, Stacey Burke, American Physiological Society (APS), and Kellie O'Rourke, Cambridge University Press, hosted by Malavika Legge. The Wayfinders series is brought to you by OASPA; it brings to life practical case-studies helping all organizations find ways to increase equity in open access (OA). Nathaniel Gore: “We are focusing on how we as a publisher are trying to remove the per publication charge, we see that as potentially the most significant barrier to equitable participation and open science communication.” Listen to hear how PeerJ designed and implement that model: https://lnkd.in/egGJEpbR PeerJ is an award-winning Open Access publisher dedicated to advancing scholarly communication and research dissemination. This Pride Month, we’re celebrating the enduring legacy of Judith Butler’s ‘Gender Trouble.’ There’s a reason this title is in our Routledge Classics series – it’s a landmark, ground-breaking text in Queer Theory that’s just as relevant today as it was when it came out in 1990. A radical examination of the “irreducible complexity of sexuality” and gender identity, it’s a text that perfectly encapsulates the spirit of Pride.
