Today TDR Training attended the Get Up and Go event at Cobalt! It was great to speak to the next future generation of apprentices.😊 We bumped into one of our current apprentices! ‘Watt’ a great way to round up the week. Here at TDR Training & Trust we have been showcasing our apprentices from our last rotation. For our Electrical Apprentice of the Rotation we meet Evan Smith from BEL Engineering (UK). Evan is a familiar face, this being his second award. Evan’s work was solid from the start, working his way through all of the tasks put in front of him. To finish the rotation he teamed up with George Ginnelly, also from BEL Engineering (UK) to set up our new safe isolation board. An outstanding effort from them both. Well done lads.

For our Milling Apprentice of the Rotation, we congratulate Callum Hanlon from ELITE PRECISION ENGINEERING LIMITED. Callum came to TDR Training & Trust after our initial September intake, showing the benefits of our flexible approach to apprenticeships. Callum started his rotation strong and kept his standard throughout. Callum’s tutor commented on how quickly he was able to pick up the information given and produce quality parts. Callum also showed a really great attitude towards his written assignments. Keep up the good work Callum.

Continuing to celebrate our amazing apprentices, we congratulate Alex Marshall from BEL Engineering (UK). This rotation we ran two Fitting Sections, and Alex topped his group in style. Alex’s work ethic and attention to detail set him apart from the other apprentices. Alex completed all his training tasks, plus several extension tasks before absolutely smashing his asssessment pieces (in a good way!) I can see Alex having a bright future in engineering and BEL Engineering are lucky to have such a diligent apprentice. Well done Alex from all at TDR Training & Trust
