TECH SCALEUP NETWORKING - CHRISTMAS SPECIAL What a great end to another packed year of support for our West England regional tech eco-system. What a fantastic turnout with founders, investors and professionals at our Tech West England Advocates Christmas Special, kindly hosted by Gavin Phillips Director of Tax for RSM UK Bristol. Emily Hill, CEO, Ghyston shared her leadership scaleup journey experience. It was not a typical spin-out story, scaling organically with a focus on talent retention and culture to deliver quality bespoke client tech solutions. One of the key lessons shared, included the need to prepare for functional structural change, during the scaleup phase, to accommodate new and exiting talent specialisms. We were delighted Ayman Elhalwagy, CEO of Perceptura could join us who had recently return from our second successful UK Tech Mission to Hong Kong to share their outcomes and important market insight. Apart from the commercial benefits, Ayman shared valuable intangible value and how participating in our tech trade mission had led to a complete paradigm shift in their business model, from direct market engagement and feedback, with rich insight gained from meeting investors, prospects, experts and our mission partners, across a packed week of market entry events.
