Yesterday at our 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝗜 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽 with Yeovil College, our learners took their knowledge to the next level by applying AI to real-world tasks for our faux company, 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀! 🌱✨ Over the past 5 weeks, they’ve been diving deep into AI applications, and yesterday was their chance to shine. From HR to Marketing, Customer Experience to Sustainability, they explored how AI tools can transform workflows. 💻📊 Here are just a few highlights of what they accomplished: ◯ 𝗛𝗥 & 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Vetting CVs and drafting comprehensive policies. ◯ 𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲: Responding to FAQs via email with AI-generated answers. ◯ 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 & 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀: Interpreting sales data, producing insightful charts, and more. ◯ 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: Conducting market research and crafting engaging social posts. ◯ 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: Brainstorming innovative green solutions with AI support. With over 25 functions explored, it was a busy, productive day that showcased how AI can empower individuals to achieve more in less time while enhancing their skills. Elon Musk’s AI chatbot, Grok, is now open to the masses. Free users on X can send up to 10 messages every two hours. Before, it was only for Premium subscribers. Now, anyone can try it. Grok calls itself a “humorous AI assistant.” It makes jokes, answers questions, and even generates images. Some of those images caused a stir—not all good. The move is bold. Grok steps into a crowded arena. ChatGPT. Google Gemini. Microsoft Copilot. Anthropic’s Claude. All free. All strong. But Musk’s xAI raised $6 billion. A standalone app could be next. OpenAI o1 is now out of preview in ChatGPT. What’s changed since the preview? A faster, more powerful reasoning model that’s better at coding, math & writing. o1 now also supports image uploads, allowing it to apply reasoning to visuals for more detailed & useful responses. Plus and Team users will have access to OpenAI o1 today through the model selector, replacing o1-preview. Enterprise and Edu users will have access in one week.
