What an incredible team 🫶🏻❤️ Every year team Techspace takes a long weekend off campus... bringing the whole company together. 2024's team off-site saw us trek down to Brighton for a healthy variety of work, rest and play. With a surge of newbies in the team this year we now have 57 Techspacers today!! With so many new faces across London and Berlin, team get-togethers have never been more enjoyable opportunities to strengthen our bond. 🙌🏼 With an Awards Ceremony that will live long in the memory (so much so we've made it an annual fixture), this year's off-site was the best one yet. Here's a little recap of some of the weekend in photos. GIF-style 🤓 📸 Bring on 2025! #WhereChangeMakersAreMade #TeamTechspace #Offsite ❤️

When a partnership is just meant to be 🌱 🙌🏼 🇩🇪🇬🇧 It's official, for 2025 Techspace will become the official workspace partner for the Carbon13 Venture Builder UK programme at our brand new Farringdon location, on Goswell Road! 🚀 After hosting the Berlin Venture Builder programme successfully in Berlin last year, it was time to make things international. 🙌🏼 Special thanks must go to Eliot Brooks for his introduction back in 2022. At the time, he was in the midst of founding a new carbon removal startup, Cocoon, straight out of Carbon13's Venture Builder programme based in Cambridge (class of '23). Not only do we have Eliot to thank, but in our view this only demonstrates the quality of the talent pool in every Carbon13 cohort, and what a fantastic job they do to deliver meaningful impact with every venture they help build. Here's to another great year with even more impact. 🚀 ✔ Berlin x London partnership ✔ Top rated building for ESG ✔ Discounts for our cohort ✔ Mission driven and collaborative community “Building great climatetech ventures requires mastering two challenges that are nearly impossible to achieve remotely: teaming and ideation. That’s why we’re thrilled to partner with Techspace, offering our founders dynamic, collaborative workspaces in London and Berlin. Together, we’re empowering them to tackle the world’s toughest challenges—starting with climate change.” Nicky Dee CEO, Carbon13 Full details here: https://lnkd.in/eHYNKeDs #ClimateImpact #NewPartnership

💬 ✨Activating our spaces for meaningful discussions This year, we’ve gathered the tech ecosystem to chat about: – Why are your working parents struggling? – How can women prepare for maternity leave and beyond? We're now counting down to our third: 'Real Talk: What Does it Mean for Men to Be Strong?' Alongside play for change, we're gathering male leaders in the ecosystem to chat about ongoing challenges: rising suicide rates, mental health crises, and pressures in work and fatherhood, whilst providing a platform to speak up and seek support. RSVP here: https://lu.ma/lbpfh9cq By challenging the notion and societal expectations of being 'strong', we’ll be opening the room up to chat about what it truly means to be strong at work and in our personal lives today. Discussions will be contributed and led by: Mira Magecha (ex-FTSE CPO. Founder, play for change) Jonathan Bullock (ex-COO, Softbank. Founder, Gigantec.com) Robert Stevenson (COO, Techspace) Join us at Techspace Goswell Road next Tuesday, 19 November. People leaders who are interested in contributing to the topic are welcome too. See you soon.

It's a no brainer. With so much talk about workplace arrangements in recent years, the discussion around whether or not to have an office has become somewhat... overcomplicated. 🧐 As illustrated by our #FutureOfWork report back in May, while much has changed, a few things have undeniably remained the same... → Teams perform better when they can collaborate in-person 2-3 days a week. → Being around other people has a dramatic impact on our collective wellbeing. → To scale an innovative, successful company, you must have a team that is ambitious, collaborative, and happy. It shouldn't come as a surprise that we're big fans of in-person work, and we're constantly striving to create workspace experiences that enable our unique community of change-makers to flourish. With that, we're already getting excited about what's in store for next year... so here's a few snippets/ things to look forward to across Techspace locations in 2025... ① The launch of our MEGA Piano Factory campus in Berlin - Q4 2025 👀 ② Growing our incredible list of growth and event partners 🤝 ③ More on-site café's in Techspace locations ☕️ ④ News on our next international European hub, Munich 🇩🇪 Stay across everything happening in the Techspace community by signing up to our newsletter → https://lnkd.in/eWcQNVSN Over and out. #WhereChangeMakersAreMade

🪄 We’ve all seen AI’s magic – but is your scaleup leveraging it? In the last two years, AI has convinced us of its impact on our future: future jobs, future workflows, future methods of collaboration... But that also begs the question: what about now? 🔮 Join us for our next Berlin People Meetup, this time putting a spotlight on how tech companies are already integrating AI into their People strategies and influencing team-wide uptake. RSVP here: https://lu.ma/4mmkwctj Cut through the noise with us and get an insider's perspective on current challenges, practical solutions and actionable steps for implementing AI at scale. The conversation will be led by Kim Stringer (our very own People Director), featuring Paul Karrmann, who has over 15 years of People experience in public companies and BCG Digital Ventures, and now consults on People strategies using AI. 🗓 28 November, 5:30pm 📍 Techspace Eiswerk, Berlin See you there! 🚀 Launching WIN - Workspace Intelligence Network Our operator led initiative fills a big data gap in the flex workspace sector. Until now, we’ve relied too heavily on expensive intermediaries to fill this gap for us, none of who have accurate data. With WIN - Workspace Intelligence Network, we’re trying to fix this from the inside - for operators by operators. This is long overdue. By sharing basic operational data, members can contribute to and benefit from collective knowledge to drive growth. 💻 WIN - Workspace Intelligence Network adheres strictly to a clear competition policy, prioritising fair competition practices to protect the integrity of all members. We are inviting a select group of multi-site operators with London operations to join Phase 1. 📨 To express your interest, get in touch below Together we can contribute to the growth and sustainability of the sector.
