🚀 Making the Switch: Cara Cara Higginbottom started her career as a Process Engineer in the food industry, however, it soon became clear that this wasn’t the line of work for her. During a career break spent travelling across Europe in a self-made camper van, she made the bold decision to move into another form of engineering, and retrain for a new career in software development. On Saturday TechSwitch ran our first collaboration event with Girls on Track UK to introduce their community members to how software development and motorsport overlap, as well as giving them some insights into learning to code with a specially built Formula 1 themed game. I had a wonderful time being a panelist with Pelin Hakverir Philippa T. Zhenghan Hu and thank you to Emily Mitchell for being an incredible host.
