We recently hosted Slide & OTS Winter - the UK's only snow sports trade show here at Telford International Centre! We welcomed over 1,000 business visitors and over 70 exhibitors to this visually colourful and attractive show, where lots of trading was done. Thank you to Outdoor Industries Association (OIA) and Snowsport Industries of Great Britain (SIGB) for organising as well as to everyone who attended. #SnowSports #Events #EventProfs

Event planners love nothing more than blank canvas venue that where we can completely own the look and feel of a huge event. We’ve got a huge event coming up in a few months at the Telford International Centre. So the team went to spend the day there to review the space, get in all the nooks and crannies, look at the hotels, get a feel for the customer journey, and generally get cracking with the planning. The team working onsite at this venue are incredible. Nothing is too much trouble, and the hospitality is 10/10. Thanks so much for having us. Holly Jones is a young woman with a career plan. Inspired at the age of 16 to pursue a career in events, Holly sought out work experience at one of our on-site hotels, the Holiday Inn Telford Ironbridge. Coming to the attention of our HR team due to her enthusiasm to learn on the job, this resulted in Holly earning an apprenticeship here at Telford International Centre. As she gained experience across all our departments and shadowed event managers, she quickly picked up the knowledge that led to her receiving a permanent role in our team.
