Yesterday, Chancellor Rachel Reeves delivered the first ever Budget by a woman and Labour's first since 2010. Contained within was a pledge to increase NHS spending by £25.7bn over this year and next. Ahead of a spring 2025 release of a 10-year NHS improvement strategy, Thalamos is making its contribution to the Change NHS public consultation as we look to support the government's pledge to prioritise technology and digital improvements to increase productivity and save staff time. Mental health must get its fair share of new investment if parity of care is to be realised.
