A Robotics Group at the University of Zurich developed autonomous racing drones that can beat world-class human pilots in a fair race The #drones navigated a complex course with speed and precision, relying on their own vision systems and computers to fly. The autonomous drone averaged 1.8 seconds per lap faster than the human pilot, Thomas Bitmatta, who has twice won FPV drone racing's MultiGP International World Cup, and had a peak speed of 110 kilometers per hour. This is just the beginning for #ai !
