EXCITING RESEARCH from our medical founder at international Burns Injury conference One of our key values is that our senior medical team continue to be a scientific authority on burns, scars and skin healing. Alexandra Murray continues to be at the forefront of research on these topics, presenting at the International Society of Burns Injuries joint conference with the British Burns Association in August. Alex was the senior author on several papers presented at the meeting by the entire Burns and Scar MDT at Buckinghamshire NHS Trust where Alex is the Clinical Lead for Burns and Scars. A fantastic achievement for the department and the individuals. It was also an opportunity to catch up with past mentors, Fiona Wood and Jeremy Rawlins colleagues and the latest knowledge from other centres. An inspirational week.
