The transition from summer to autumn is gentle yet profound. Leaves change color, creating vibrant footpaths as we move into a new season. At the 44 Group, we embrace all changes, especially those within ourselves. We want to encourage you too… Nourish your mind, body and spirit As daylight diminishes, it's vital to soak up sunshine. Spend at least 20 minutes outside each morning to boost vitamin D and reconnect with nature. This practice becomes crucial during colder seasons, providing essential nourishment for our immune system and overall wellbeing. Listen to what your body is telling you Tune into your body's needs. Eat seasonal, colourful foods like beetroots, raspberries, and winter squash. Embrace outdoor activities like Forest Bathing, regardless of weather. Notice nature's changes and remember that all challenges, like seasons, are temporary. Appreciate autumn's unique beauty by letting it unfold naturally. Now's the time to slow down Decelerate your daily tasks to boost productivity. Apply this approach to mindfulness practices like breath work, meditation, and journaling. Incorporate relaxing baths into your routine, or try invigorating morning cold plunges. Embrace solitude during this seasonal shift. Listen to your inner voice and give yourself moments of stillness. This can profoundly shift your focus to what truly matters. May this season bring you clarity and peace.

As the seasons transitioned and the nights grew longer, The 44 Group found itself seeking innovative ways to embrace and make the most of this autumnal shift. In our quest for inspiration, we stumbled upon a fascinating episode of Michael Mosley's "Just One Thing" podcast, which shed light on the unexpected benefits of taking walks in the rain. This discovery opened our eyes to a whole new perspective on rainy days. Intriguingly, the podcast revealed that rainfall isn't just a meteorological phenomenon; it's a natural wonder with surprising effects on our wellbeing. When rain falls, it releases special compounds into the air that can have a positive impact on both our brain chemistry and bodily functions. These compounds, known as geosmin and plant-based essential oils, are believed to have mood-enhancing properties. Moreover, rainfall acts as nature's air purifier, effectively washing away harmful pollutants from the atmosphere. This means that venturing outdoors during or shortly after a rainfall can provide you with an opportunity to breathe in significantly cleaner, fresher air, potentially boosting your respiratory health. The benefits of rainy weather extend beyond just physical health. A compelling study conducted by researchers at Harvard University suggests an interesting correlation between rainy days and productivity levels. The findings indicate that people tend to be more focused and productive on rainy days. The theory behind this is that when it's raining outside, we're less likely to be distracted by thoughts of outdoor activities or social engagements. Instead, the soothing sound of rainfall and the cosy indoor atmosphere can create an ideal environment for concentration and task completion. This unexpected productivity boost adds another layer to the advantages of embracing rainy days, turning what some might consider dreary weather into an opportunity for enhanced focus and accomplishment. Will you consider taking a walk in the rain?

High Vibrational Self Love is at the heart of Grey Wolfe UK; however, we often find people wondering what it actually means. While some of us understand Self Love, the concept of High Vibration may be less familiar. Self love, like love itself, can be complex. It's the act of connecting with ourselves to better tune in to our truths. High Vibration refers to the energy that everything around us consists of. Every person, place, and thing vibrates at a different frequency—the universe is energy, and so are we. We have the ability to shift that energy to allow for more peace, happiness, and flow in our daily lives. These shifts don't need to be big or time-consuming. Often, they involve returning to basics: focusing on simple habits or rituals you can rely on when feeling out of alignment. This is where Grey Wolfe comes in—our treatments align you where necessary and provide you with High Vibrational Self Love. The higher your vibration frequency, the lighter you feel in your physical, emotional, and mental bodies. You experience greater personal power, clarity, peace, love, and joy. You have little, if any, discomfort or pain in your physical body, and your emotions are easily managed. Your energy is literally full of light! Your life flows with synchronicity, and you manifest your desires with ease. Overall, your life takes on a positive quality. If you're not currently a member but would like to learn more about Grey Wolfe and how it could help you achieve BioHarmony, book a complimentary discovery session today -(https://lnkd.in/esgeFsJM)

Our bodies are amazing at adapting to change, both physically and mentally. While this is great for survival, it can make it harder to reach our fitness goals. When we do the same workout over and over, our body gets used to it. This means we stop seeing improvements in our health, strength, weight loss, or even how we feel mentally. If we don't change our workout routine, we might hit a plateau where we stop making progress. We might even go backwards if we get bored or tired of doing the same thing. That's why fitness experts suggest changing our workouts every 6-12 weeks. Changing our workouts with the seasons can be a great idea. It's good for our overall health and well-being. Long ago, before modern technology, people naturally followed different rhythms - daily rhythms, seasonal changes, and even animal migrations for food. The more we can match these natural rhythms, the better our bodies work. We sleep better, feel calmer, and our hormones stay balanced. It's always better to spend some time outdoors, no matter what season it is. This is true even if you live in a city - get out and explore your urban environment! Being outside helps our bodies know when it's day or night, gives us vitamin D from sunlight, and lets us breathe fresh air and connect with nature. Each season has its own characteristics that can affect how, what, and when we exercise. It's a good idea to plan your workouts for the upcoming season before it arrives. This way, you can make the most of what each season has to offer for your fitness routine. The Best Time to Work Out in Winter: • Outdoor workouts: During peak sunlight hours, typically between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, to maximise vitamin D absorption and maintain healthy levels. This timing also helps combat seasonal affective disorder (SAD) by exposing you to natural light. • Indoor workouts: Early morning, between 6:00-10:00 AM. Starting your day with exercise can boost your metabolism, improve mental clarity, and set a positive tone for the rest of your day. It's also a great way to warm up your body during the colder months. The Best Types of Workouts: • Outdoor: Hill walking and hiking to challenge your cardiovascular system and build leg strength. High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and interval training are excellent for maintaining fitness in shorter durations, perfect for colder weather. Consider also trying winter-specific activities like snowshoeing or cross-country skiing for a full-body workout. • Indoor: Heated group classes such as hot yoga or Bikram yoga to stay warm and improve flexibility. Cycling classes or spinning to maintain cardiovascular fitness without braving the cold. Treadmill activities including walking, running, and sprints, which allow you to control your environment while still getting an effective workout. Strength training with weights or resistance bands is also beneficial for maintaining muscle mass during the winter months.
