Last week we were thrilled to host an IamRemarkable workshop with 15 colleagues across our corporate functions. IamRemarkable is a global movement designed to empower individuals to celebrate their achievements both in the workplace and beyond. The workshop gave participants the opportunity to discuss self-promotion and effective strategies for sharing their accomplishments. This is just the beginning of our conversation and we will continue to explore how we can break down barriers and share our success with others. #IamRemarkable #ItsOkImWithTheAA

Last night we celebrated everything that makes The AA special - our people - at The AA Awards 2024. It was an incredible night where we crowned our 14 winners out of more than 2,200 nominations. Our achievements demonstrate the transformation of our business, new culture and optimism in the future. We were honoured to award medals to patrols for bravery and outstanding service. A great time was had by all and we're proud of the progress we're making and our brilliant team who make it happen. Well done everyone! #AAAwards #ItsOkImWithTheAA

Earlier this week, 13 of our Performance Leaders met in our Oldbury office to take part in a Project Management workshop as part of their Level 3 ILM apprenticeship qualification. This marks the penultimate workshop before they begin to prepare for their final exams.    Upon completion, our colleagues will have a Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor apprenticeship as well as their ILM Level 3 Diploma in Management, equipping and empowering them to better lead our patrol workforce.    We wish them the best of luck in finishing their qualification.    #AApprenticeships  #ILM  #ItsOkImWithTheAA  #AACareers

We're thrilled to have welcomed our brand new group of amazing Customer Service apprentices to our Oldbury office this September. Their 12-month programme combines classroom learning with hands-on experience, guided by experienced mentors, creating a chance to earn whilst they work towards their professional qualifications. Today marks International Men’s Day and the theme this year is ‘Positive Male Role Models’. Earlier this week our colleagues from Roadside, Talent Acquistion and our Apprenticeship team attended a National Apprenticeship and Education event in London. The event was designed to inspire school & college leavers to discover more about career and further education opportunities.    With over 5,000 visitors attending the event, the team put them to the test with a tyre challenge and showcased how we help our members get into their vehicles if they’ve lost their keys. Last week was Deepawali, a celebration of light, symbolizing the victory of good over evil. To celebrate, our Basingstoke office put up traditional decorations and arranged a potluck, with over 40 colleagues coming together to try new Indian dishes. A massive thank you to our Origins co-chair Sathya Kathiresan and Ranjani Iyerr, for all of their hard work organising the celebration.
