At LTA, safety and efficiency are paramount. One of the ways to ensure both? Rope access. This specialized technique is critical in industries that involve working at heights or in hard-to-reach places, and it’s crucial for airship operations. Our teams undergo extensive training, preparing them to work safely in high or confined spaces. Compared to other height-access methods, like scaffolding or cranes, rope access is often faster to set up and requires less heavy equipment. This efficiency enables quicker repairs, inspections, and maintenance. #Airships #Safety #Aviation #LTAResearch

Expert by media. CEO at Aerosmena airship proj., Airship industry analyst, aka AEROCRAT - blogger, intiative support for aeronautic projects
During the airshow, AVIC tested its civil manned AS700 airship and secured a purchase order for 10 units along with intent to purchase agreements for 164 more. The airship was even sold online during China's annual "Double 11" shopping spree on the e-commerce platform Taobao. Jingmen Urban Construction Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd., which purchased the AS700 airship online, subsequently signed an intent to purchase order for an additional 60 airships. According to the company's chairman, Cheng Xiong, a study conducted among passengers and several scenic areas revealed strong public enthusiasm for the airship's operations. Initially, the airships will be deployed for low-altitude tourism, Cheng explained. Their applications are set to expand into areas such as aerial photography, city inspections and other innovative scenarios. https://lnkd.in/dzAqhVKi

Thank you, CNET and What The Future, for coming out for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look inside Sceye’s hangar as we prepared for last month’s launch. It was great to have you! During the tour, our CEO, Mikkel Frandsen, shared what makes Sceye's high-altitude platform a game-changer: “The only other thing that can do what we're doing is a geostationary satellite, but we’re closer, more cost-effective, and have a much smaller environmental footprint.” Chief of Mission Operations, Stephanie Luongo, gave a glimpse of what’s next: “The goal is over a year. When a particular HAPS is reaching its end of life service, we would just be sending up another one to replace it.” Check out the behind-the-scenes of our launch here: https://bit.ly/40DYaL1
