Rugby Masterclass Highlights from last week! 🏉 The U14s at Farnham Rugby Club had an awesome session with pro players William Trenholm, Connor Slevin and Oscar Beard 💪 The morning started with core skills before splitting into specialised groups. Will worked his magic with the forwards on tackling and jackling, while Oscar and Connor ran some sharp backs moves 🔥 The highlight? A full-contact game where everyone showed off their new skills! Over at Cranleigh School later in the week, we mixed things up with players from different clubs and ages. Special shoutout to Ben, who grabbed some quality 1-on-1 time with Will during the session 👊 Big thanks to our amazing coaches for sharing their expertise! Recently been throwing myself into lots of different coaching opportunities. Its important to enjoy other things outside of your sport and I’ve found coaching to be the perfect fit! I’ve been honoured to attend and have presented trophies at the Guildfordians Rugby Football Club girls tournament in the U14, U16, and U18 sides. It was amazing to see so many girls getting involved in the game and how high the standards now are. I’m also proud to be part of the UR7s coaching team. It’s a national academy that aims to help young players at the top of their game find a love for 7s and create high performing players. The Coaching Grid is also another amazing platform that I’m super proud to be part of! It’s a place where athletes of all ages and backgrounds have the access to some great coaches for 1-2-1 sessions tailored specifically to the player. Looking ahead, super excited to be involved with Farnham RFC for the next few weeks with their U16 and U18 sides. Coaching is something I really enjoy and am always looking for more opportunities.
