Facilitating multi-professional health and care workforce development

About us

🌟The Creative Health Alliance provides bespoke, values-driven services that blend strategic and operational perspectives to facilitate multi-professional health and care workforce development. 🌟 Our co-founders and co-directors, Dr Beverley Durrant, Dr Stephanie Tempest and Dr Jo Watson, are registered health professionals who have all worked across sectors and settings, including in practice, academic, research and leadership roles. Together, they have amassed nearly 90 years’ experience. They bring different and complementary knowledge, skills and experiences to the table, and have a strong sense of shared values of honesty, integrity and fairness. Along with innovative solutions and value for money, The Creative Health Alliance offers new and different ways of working to provide an accessible and enjoyable experience for those working with us. As our name suggests, our approach is based on working in ⭐collaborative alliance⭐ with our clients. By ⭐bridging systems, health and care provider organisations, education providers and the workforce⭐, our aim is always to be ⭐responsive and impactful⭐: ☑️for the workforce, ☑️for services, ☑️for organisations, and ultimately ☑️for the people and communicates we collectively serve. As ⭐trusted advisers and critical friends⭐, we take an ⭐analytical, forward-thinking, systems approach that remains firmly relational⭐. What matters to you matters to us. What success looks like for you sets the direction of travel. Our approach centres on ⭐enabling and empowering⭐ the workforce to grow to become the best versions of themselves – personally and professionally. That includes supporting the development of your team as part of the process. We’d be delighted to arrange a ⭐ no-obligation exploratory discussion about how we might be able to help⭐ 📩 jo@drjowatsonconsulting.com 📩 steph@stephanietempestconsultancy.com 📩 drbdurrant@vectishealthcaresolutions.co.uk

Are you on a learning pathway to become a prosthetist orthotist? 🤔 Can I pick your brains, please? 🙏 I’m interested in hearing your thoughts whether you’re pursuing your career goals through university-based studies or an apprenticeship … 💡 As part of a programme of work The Creative Health Alliance is doing with BAPO Prosthetists and Orthotists, I’m leading plans to set up a new learner page on their website. 🤓 It will be open access for everyone, not just BAPO student members. 🌟 The important question is WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE INCLUDED on the page? 🌟 ✅ We know you have access to LOADS of learning materials through your education provider and employer (if you’re an apprentice). ✅ And we know that you can access loads more through your practice-based learning experiences. ❌ We don’t want to double-up on that. 💡 What we DO want to do is focus the new Learner webpage on providing access to information and resources that add value to those you already have at your finger tips. Things that it’s appropriate for your professional body to make available to support you on your journey to joining the professional workforce. Things such as: ✅ A day in the life of … blog posts from colleagues within the profession to offer inspiration ✅ BAPO short courses, webinars, Teatime Talks & other virtual events ✅ The BAPO YouTube channel ✅ Other BAPO professional affairs and practice resources ✅ The BAPO Mentoring Programme ✅ The BAPO (2024) Career Development Framework ✅ The BAPO (2024) Practice-based Learning Framework for Pre-registration Learners ✅ BAPO (2024) Early Career Guidance Framework ✅ Resources to support your preceptorship journey as you transition from learner to new HCPC registrant What else would be on your personal wish-list? 🤔 How can we make this new webpage as useful to pre-registration learners as possible? 🤓 Please let me know what you think! 🙏 You can put your ideas and suggestions in the comments below 👇, DM or email me 📩 Please share amongst your pre-reg P&O learner networks. I'm keen to hear as many views from them as possible 🔁 Many thanks in advance 😁
