Another great example of a success story from our The Gen Z Club collaboration. It is no mean feat taking on this exam, independently, on top of your studies but Patrick Gangoue has proven it is possible. Well done👊 The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI) #youth #scholarships #genZ #financialservices #progress

Yesterday I delivered training to Senior Executives on how they can get the most out of their Gen Z talent 🥹 here’s what I shared: ZEAL Creative Limited invited me to deliver a virtual training session on how their senior executives including the CEO can get the most out of their Gen Z Talent. They understand that Gen Z are not only the future but the NOW With the oldest Gen Z turning 27 and 25% of the workforce being Gen Z by 2025. The take over has well and truly begun! Here’s what I shared with them 1. There are almost 2 Billion Gen Z, you are not going to change a whole generation, you either need to work with them collaboratively or they will choose to work elsewhere. 2. Adaptung for Gen Z isn’t about pandering to them it’s about understanding what they want and using that to get them to produce their best work which will ultimately help the company. 3. Gen Z values organisations that have a clear purpose and social impact. If you can’t align social impact directly with your brand, utilises employee resource group or internal communities 4. Gen Z employees prioritise flexibility in their work arrangements. Offering options like remote work, flexible hours, and a good work-life balance can significantly boost their productivity and job satisfaction. 5. Gen Z places high importance on personal and professional growth. Provide ongoing learning opportunities, mentorship programs, and clear career progression paths to keep them engaged and motivated. 6. Regular, transparent communication is key. Gen Z prefers frequent feedback rather than waiting for formal reviews. Create a culture where feedback is constructive, continuous, and two-way. 7. Gen Z values diversity and inclusivity in the workplace. Promote a culture that embraces different backgrounds, perspectives, and ideas, ensuring that everyone feels respected and heard. 8. While they appreciate guidance, Gen Z employees thrive when given autonomy and responsibility. Trust them with important tasks and allow them to take ownership of their work, which fosters creativity and initiative. This will ultimately only lead to their growth. 9. Gen Z expect to be paid fairly but also Introduce performance-based bonuses or incentives that reward employees for achieving specific goals or milestones. This will ultimately make them work harder and own their work. 10. Encourage entrepreneurship, most Gen Z have side hustles they aren’t comfortable to tell you about, they likely have taught themselves skills that can be highly beneficial to the organisation if given the safe space to share it I would like to thank Natalie Winterton-Whitfield for the opportunity and the ZEAL Creative Limited executives for a fun two way conversation where they were so raw and honest with me about their challenges. I look forward to seeing the growth of their junior talent! The Gen Z Club

I’m going to be hosting an event with VaynerMedia EMEA 🥹 This one with a twist! On Monday the 9th of September at VaynerMedia EMEA’s London office, me and Daisy Domenghini will be holding a ‘reverse panel’ event. Where Gen Z will be in the hot seat and we are going to ask them: 1. What would make them apply for a job 2. What would make them stay in a job. One of the biggest talking points today is how to attract and retain the best Gen Z talent. So, what better way to find out than by asking our community directly? With the aim of giving professionals real insights on what they can be doing to attract and retain the next and current generation of the workforce. With Gen Z expected to make up 27% of the workforce by 2025, it’s time for us to ask the right questions and gain some understanding. We look forward to seeing many of you there. For those that would like to come the link is: https://bit.ly/3SQ1q1v And for Gen Z that are looking to speak on the panel please join my community austinokolo.com where I’ll be updating members shortly!
