This day sheds light on crucial topics like men’s mental health, the high rate of male suicides, and the unique challenges men face in education, work, and as fathers. It’s a reminder of the importance of promoting positive conversations around masculinity, ensuring men have support, and breaking the silence around mental health struggles. Let's work together toward a world where every man and boy feels valued, supported, and empowered. #InternationalMensDay #InlcusiveCompanies

Diversity and inclusion are essential for unlocking the full potential of any workforce, as highlighted by our CEO, Paul Sesay, in his recent feature with HR Magazine. Supporting talent goes beyond focusing on skills—employees from minority backgrounds often face confidence gaps, particularly if they are pioneers within their communities. Mentorship and sponsorship can help bridge this gap, building confidence and enabling growth. Attracting diverse talent requires more than just advertising; it demands strategic engagement with communities and leveraging local networks to reach the right candidates. Once diverse talent is brought on board, fostering a sense of belonging is vital. Inclusive networks don’t just support individuals—they create understanding across teams and thrive when leadership is actively involved. Data also plays a critical role in driving inclusivity; anonymous employee surveys can uncover valuable insights into lived experiences, guiding policies and progress. Finally, storytelling is a powerful tool—sharing personal journeys of overcoming adversity inspires trust, builds engagement, and creates a workplace culture where everyone feels valued and empowered. A recent report by City & Guilds’ Neurodiversity Index, in collaboration with Do-IT Solutions, has unveiled alarming insights: half of neurodivergent employees have missed work due to insufficient support. With 36% receiving no workplace guidance, 20% still waiting for adjustments, and many unaware of where to seek help, the message is clear—more must be done to foster inclusion. Experts like Prof. Amanda Kirby MBBS MRCGP PhD FCGI and James McLaughlin emphasise the urgency of creating supportive environments where neurodiverse employees feel valued and heard. Employers must act now by offering accommodations, fostering open dialogue, and establishing clear processes for adjustments. This is a call to action: Let’s build workplaces where neurodiversity thrives, not struggles.
