Helping people make the right land use decisions through data and technology
About us
From climate change to deforestation to sustainable food production, the major challenges facing our generation revolve around how land is used and managed. We founded our company to tackle these issues, which we do by helping people make the right land use decisions through data and technology. Interested in working for us? Our vision is a world where our data and technology empowers businesses, enhances our natural environment, and organises meaningful collective action on global sustainability challenges. The Land App is the first step on this journey as a user-friendly online mapping tool designed for land managers and their advisors. Launched in 2017, The Land App is now trusted by over 4,000 rural teams and professionals across the UK, including: national land agents such as Savills and Strutt & Parker; land managers such as the Goodwood Estate and the RSPB; and government agencies such as National Parks.

You asked and we answered: The Selected Heritage Inventory for Natural England (also known as SHINE) data is now available on Land App! We’re proud to be the first mapping tool to offer this dataset to our users, helping you to more accurately and quickly plan your ELMs applications. Use your SBI number to view non-designated historic and archaeological features on your land that could benefit from management under Countryside Stewardship and may be unsuitable for certain actions under the Sustainable Farming Incentive. Learn more about the data download here: https://hubs.li/Q02-Hp9K0 We are grateful to the support from the Association of Local Government Archaeological Officers for the data, and support from Historic England and the Exegesis - an Idox company Geospatial team.
