Our NPS (Net Promoter Score) for The Essentials last month was 81! NPS measures how likely people are to recommend us, so 81 is a fantastic score. 💛 The Essentials is the foundation for workplace wellbeing and introduces you to the Mental Health Continuum, and our Emotional Needs & Resources approach. Our research shows that on average, those who are unable to work are meeting their need for Security the least, with only 13% of 2,338 respondents feeling secure. 🔒 This may be unsurprising to hear, as financial security plays a big factor in helping us to feel emotionally safe. We want everyone in Suffolk to have the tools to support their own and others' mental health by meeting our innate needs and effectively using our resources. If you are an employer who wants to help your team's mental health, register for our Supporting Mental Health workshop which teaches you skills on how to calm emotive language and protect your own wellbeing: https://lnkd.in/e2TaPHdg #TMHTK #SuffolkMind #MentalHealthTraining #WorkplaceWellbeing

Did you know that the money you spend on training with us goes back into local mental health services? 💛 We are a part of Suffolk Mind, Suffolk's independent mental health charity that serves the county. Last week I attended The Mental Health Toolkit Essential workshop hosted by Suffolk Mind at Colchester Rugby Club. The session was a really interesting insight into our physical and emotional needs and the resources we use to develop these. I’d highly recommend the course for businesses looking for ways to support their employees resilience and help equip them with tools to tackle the challenges of the modern world. #iwsupports #mentalhealth #mind #wellbeing

#MentalHealthTopTip 💡 Quite often we think about the analogy of putting on our life jackets before helping others. This counts for mental health too. 👇 For more top tips on supporting others' mental health and your own, join The Comprehensive Toolkit's 8 modules of training: https://lnkd.in/eAZ-4hhF #TMHTK #SuffolkMind #MentalHealthTraining #WorkplaceWellbeing

It is #FeedbackFriday already! Our training team have been busy delivering lots of courses and we have had some great comments to highlight the impact of learning how to apply strategies to support our mental health and wellbeing. ⬇️ We might already know some of these skills and methods to calm our brains, but sometimes we're not sure why certain strategies work or the right moment to use them. 🤔 To register your place on our foundation course, The Essentials, book here: https://lnkd.in/eiJuQQNh #TMHTK #MentalHealth #MentalHealthTraining #MentalHealthAwareness #WorkplaceWellbeing

Here's Charlie delivering The Essentials with Mid and North East Essex Mind at Colchester Rugby Club yesterday morning! 💛 Here, she's explaining our Emotional Needs & Resources approach to mental health, an 'organising idea' that helps you stay well. The idea being that we all have physical and emotional needs and a set of skills and resources we're born with to meet those needs. You can find out more by booking onto The Essentials ➡️ https://lnkd.in/enk5Y4GR

When you’re stressed, can you: 1. Name the unmet need that triggered your feelings? 2. Meet that need in a healthy way? 3. Continue in your work and personal relationships without multiplying the stress? If you answered no to any of these questions, I’d highly recommend the training I attended this morning. Run by Suffolk Mind, this was one of the most practical, thought-provoking and relevant courses I’ve ever attended. Even though I work as a coach and trainer whose job it is to get to the heart of why people do what they do and how to change behaviour when it’s unhelpful, this session gave me new ways to think and talk about the complex topic of mental health. I cannot recommend it enough! Expect quite a few posts from me in the coming days, sharing the cool, practical things I’ve taken away from today. 💡 #mentalhealth #mentalwellness
