Did you know that we help to get arts and craft materials into the hands of children as a partner of Crafts Council's and Hobbycraft's #LetsCraft campaign? 😁 We sent 250 packs for every student at Birkett House School this month. And look at the amazing creations made by a student who received one of these #LetsCraft packs 🐛🦋🌺 We were so happy to receive these images from a parent who shared these #mighty and #creative crafts they made at home together ☺️ If you want to find out more about #LetsCraft, click here: https://lnkd.in/euHzsK5e

🗣️"It's about the relationships that charities have with their beneficiaries - it's much more direct and immediate and authentic." Did you hear our CEO Dr. Nick Owen FRSA MBE on BBC Radio 5 Live this morning on Nicky Campbell's show? 📻 Nick joined the conversation about Captain Tom's legacy following the Charity Commission for England and Wales's report into the mishandling of public money. Hear Nick talk about the vital work of charities, the power the charitable sector brings, and the responsibilities involved in running a charity within funding regimes and governance systems. Listen now to Nick sharing his views on how the Government cannot do everything and the valuable contribution charities make in reaching beneficiaries that statutory services can't. ✅Head to 40:10: https://lnkd.in/gC8UyyPP

Phew! What a mighty, creative and insightful week it's been with our German colleagues from Werkhaus e.V who visited us in #Leicester from #Krefeld - a brilliant cultural city itself (we can attest to this following our trip there earlier this year)! 🙌 After a final morning of planning the next exciting steps of our #cultural partnership, what better way to spend the afternoon than a trip to Leicester Museum and Gallery? We're super excited to continue working together with our mighty partners from Werkhaus e.V 💗 #CommonValuesSharedDreams

🗣️"We're not always paying attention to the lives of these young people. That's the role of filmmaking... to highlight it." What a privilege to be invited to Leicestershire Cares Ltd #PowerToChange2024 conference today!💥 And it was popcorn at-the-ready for the premiere of their young people's #ChangeTheScript film 🎥 We had the honour of supporting the production of this film, led by artist and filmmaker Casey Soma 🎬🙌
