Our Therapist Network team exhibited at the Occupational Therapy Adaptation Conference in Cambridge, and our Case Management team proudly represented our expert associates at Ashtons Legal LLP Brain Injury Case Management Conference. New Research Reinforces the Need for Timely Home Adaptations Last week, our Associate DFG Ambassador, Louella Todd, had the privilege of attending the UK House of Lords for the launch of the Bath Out 2 study findings. Hosted by Lord Best and led by Phillip Whitehead, Foundations - National Body for Home Improvement Agencies, and the University of York team, this gold-standard research highlights the undeniable benefits of faster home adaptations, including a 70% reduction in falls, increased independence, and significant cost savings for health and social care. At The OT Practice, we know that timely intervention is crucial. Our recent white paper highlighted the scale of OT waiting lists and the pressing need for change. This new research further reinforces that reducing delays isn't just beneficial, it’s essential for improving lives.
